A NOTE ABOUT US TARIFFS
As you have probably heard in the news, the Trump administration has instated a large number of tariffs (also known as customs duties) on products imported into the United States. Some of the products we resell are affected by this, resulting in a higher price to you, the consumer. Contrary to misinformation that has been spread, these tariffs are NOT born by the foreign countries, but are paid by the US importer of the affected items, in this case Adrian Taillights. US small businesses such as ourselves have no choice but to pass this additional expense on to you, the customer. We DO NOT make any money on charging these tariffs; we simply pay them to UPS who pays them to the US government. As soon as there is a change in these tariffs, it will be reflected in our prices. For total transparency, you will see the amount of tariffs included in the price as a non-changeable option on the affected product pages.
LED taillight bulb kit for Porsche 996 (wide body)
We have put together this kit to upgrade your OEM 996 taillights to all-LED, to give you better visibility, while retaining your classic OEM look.
We carefully selected high quality LED bulbs for all (5) bulbs in each taillight. LED bulbs have that nice "direct on" feature which increases safety and looks great. In addition, this kit contains TRUE COLOR bulbs, meaning that instead of the white OEM bulbs, we have selected red bulbs for the running light, brake and fog functions. Using red bulbs behind a red lens results in a much crisper bright red look as opposed to the OEM's "pink-ish" look.
The kit includes detailed picture instructions telling you which bulb goes where. It also includes a plug-and-play mini harness with resistor for each light, so you avoid the so-called hyper-blinking. This harness is also pre-wired for easily connecting our optional license plate mounted reverse LED bar (coming soon!). We even provide you with a link to a how-to video on hoe to remove the taillight from the car and how to wire the optional reverse LED light bar. The kit comes in a nice box, that you can use to store your OEM bulbs, should you ever want to bring the lights back to stock.
Never worry about changing a bulb again! LED bulbs typically have a life of 10,000= hours, plus we offer a 3-year replacement warranty on every LED bulb!
