A NOTE ABOUT US TARIFFS
As you have probably heard in the news, the Trump administration has instated a large number of tariffs (also known as customs duties) on products imported into the United States. Some of the products we resell are affected by this, resulting in a higher price to you, the consumer. Contrary to misinformation that has been spread, these tariffs are NOT born by the foreign countries, but are paid by the US importer of the affected items, in this case Adrian Taillights. US small businesses such as ourselves have no choice but to pass this additional expense on to you, the customer. We DO NOT make any money on charging these tariffs; we simply pay them to UPS who pays them to the US government. As soon as there is a change in these tariffs, it will be reflected in our prices. For total transparency, you will see the amount of tariffs included in the price as a non-changeable option on the affected product pages.

We are the only company in the world offering these replacement harnesses. Porsche does not offer them. These are built from scratch by us right here in the US, from foreign and domestic parts. All connectors and wiring is brand new, and wiring is not subject to deterioration like the OEM harness wiring is.

Deterioration of the wiring insulation is a common issue on all Porsche 986/996 internal headlight harnesses. In the era these cars were built, stringent regulations were in place in Germany that mandated that all plastics used in cars was biodegradable. Porsche (and a few other manufacturers like BMW) did too good of a job in complying, resulting in these harnesses to start biodegrading in just 20 years.

There are different factors that determine the speed of this deterioration, but mileage doesn't appear to be one of them. We have seen cars with very low miles that still exhibited this issue. Below are some examples of what it looks like.
